Everything was lovely in the house, thank you. Great walks from the house, Falls of Dochart Inn does a really nice lunch. We will be back again.

John & Issy, Jasper the dog

We were so happy to find a lovely holiday home which is also dog friendly. The house is spacious and spotlessly clean. Very well appointed , we didn’t need anything extra for our stay. A very useful welcome pack with bread, butter milk and some nice extras was included too .

Killin itself is a great base for walking, eating and wonderful scenery. The area has a lot of history . We recommend the Killin Hotel and the Bridge of Lochay pub for eating out , both dog friendly in the nice bar areas and conservatory. We also ate from the fish and chip van which was good.

We would love to return to Capercaillie.

Lovely, cosy home

Great Location

Fabulous walks!

Daniel & Family, 30th December 22

We adore the area of Loch Tay, Killin and surrounding and try to escape there at least a few times a year. This year proved slightly trickier with the addition of two new members of the family, both of whom sport fur & four legs. We were absolutely delighted to discover that these new cottages not only accepted dogs. It welcomed them along with providing dog towels, waste bags etc

The cottages themselves are brilliantly located right on the edge of Killin where the only noise you have is early morning bird chorus or an occasional passing car.

Equipped with absolutely everything a family of 5 and two pups could need and what a treat to arrive to find bread/milk/butter & jam waiting on us.

Everything is finished to the highest of standards, with exceptionally comfy beds and showers strong enough to knock off any residual dirt from the near by excellent walking/on the water opportunities.

Parking on site and excellent communication from our hosts, it couldn’t have been easier.

For a family needing to escape for a few days we couldn’t have hoped for more & look forward to returning again soon.
